“The perfect place to stop and rest for the night after 30 hours of travel, on our way to the Dolomites. The hotel was quaint, welcoming and surrounded by gorgeous scenery. Hospitality was great. The bed was SO comfy and we slept beautifully in the nice dark, quiet bedroom. Only downfall was all the stairs we had to climb with our luggage (we were in 317b) but the bit of exercise was good for us after a long time sitting down travelling Breakfast was nice; basic but nice. We had the 3 course dinner in the restaurant, which we didn't love. The portions were tiny and flavour was lacking. Wine was delicious and much cheaper than at home in Australia. All in all, a great little stop over for our first night in Italy. Thankyou.”

Wrapping up after 3 nights half board- The staff is incredibly organized, friendly, multi-lingual and helpful, the rooms are clean and the food is on another level of excellence, truly special. We enjoyed the in house sauna's and Spa after long days of hiking nearby. Castel Pietra has everything you want, and nothing you don't. We will be back!”

“Absolutely amazing! Excellent service by everyone, especially the front desk. We got upgraded to a bigger room and they accommodated every need we had. Very clean & cozy. Great value. Both breakfast and dinner were great, except for the green spaetzle with fish.”
